Osman Goni Nahid is an experienced Backend Engineer, Tech Lead, and Solution Architect with over 8 years of professional experience in designing and developing high-throughput and highly scaled production-grade systems. He is proficient in hand-coding with NodeJS, Python, and Golang and has experience working with various databases such as Postgresql, Mysql, MongoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch, and RabbitMQ. He is also skilled in working with Kubernetes and Docker and has production-grade experience with both. Osman has worked with AWS, Azure, and DigitalOcean and is passionate about learning new technologies and skills. He has experience building and leading tech teams for over 5 years and loves to contribute to Open Source projects. Currently, Osman is the CTO at evaly, where he joined as the first employee of the engineering team and built a team of over 100 people. He designed, developed, and contributed to the deployment of the largest e-commerce platform (evaly), reseller marketplace (eBazar), and five other platforms consisting of over 100 polyglot microservices from scratch. He monitored and scaled the overall infrastructure to handle millions of requests per minute and reduced overall cloud costs by 40%. He also developed and deployed No #2 on-demand food, grocery & medicine delivery platform named eFood within only 1 month along with 5 resources. Previously, Osman worked as a Lead Engineer at evaly and as a Lead Software Engineer at ekkBaz, where he led and managed teams and developed and deployed various modules and services. Osman holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jahangirnagar University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Daffodil International University. His technical skills include Senior Software Engineering, Backend Development, Microservices, Kubernetes, Python, NodeJS, AWS, Docker, MongoDB, Azure, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, Elastic Search, infra, SQL, and Javascript.
